Eure et Loir is a French department located in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The capital city is Chartres and it is the main part of Beauce which is the most important agricultural region of the country. It is crossed by two rivers Eure and Loir. Marcell Proust lived and wrote in these places. He is among other, the author of a famous saying about photography, which is a great opening quote for this gallery:
